Hi there! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at National Taipei University of Technology. I received my B.S. in Electrical Engineering and my Ph.D. in Communication Engineering from National Taiwan University in 2017 and 2022, respectively. Before joining NTUT, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Graduate Institute of Photonics and Optoelectronics at NTU, and co-founded a startup working on RF and antenna systems.

I spend most of my time convincing computers to solve Maxwell’s equations — and occasionally convincing students that Maxwell’s equations are worth solving. My research interests include:

  • Computational electromagnetics (FDTD, PSTD, MoM)
  • High-frequency asymptotic techniques (UTD, PO)
  • Antenna array calibration and optimization
  • Antenna measurement and near-to-far-field transformation
  • Light scattering and propagation in random media

When I’m not chasing electromagnetic waves, I write open-source scientific software in Julia and C#, focusing on numerical methods and special functions. I also wrote a book on electromagnetic theory (NTU Press, 2026) — partly because I love the subject, and partly because my students needed something to read besides my handwriting.
